Daily Routine March 12, 2008
Children need a simple routine to follow. This helps them learn and anticipate what comes next. This is subject to change from day to day depending on the children’s interest and of course the weather.
8:00 – 8:30 : Free play and individual skill time
8:30 – 9:00 : Breakfast
9:00 – 9:30 : Free play and individual skill time
9:30 – 10:00 : Circle Time, calendar, shapes, colors, a short story, music
10:00-11:00: Outdoor play or learning centers and craft time
11:00-12:00: Preschool, puzzles, books, etc.
12:00- 1:00: Lunch and clean up
1:00 – 3:00: Rest time
3:00 – 4:00: Quiet play and Snack
4:00 – 5:00: Outdoor play, large group activities
5:00 – 5:30: Individual quiet play and clean up children for pick up.
